Check Yourself: West Ham x OddBalls Underwear for DT38

West Ham United x OddBalls Underwear

West Ham United have stepped into the world of bold prints and brighter purpose, joining forces with underwear brand OddBalls in a licensing deal that delivers a fresh range of men’s and women’s club-branded underwear — and a meaningful push for testicular cancer awareness. It’s an unexpected pairing on paper, but in reality it’s a partnership that fits as neatly as a good pair of boxers.

OddBalls, founded in 2014 with the sole intention of shaking up a stale underwear market, will roll out a full suite of boxers, briefs and bralettes decked out in unmistakable West Ham United designs. True to OddBalls’ trademark style, the new collection promises plenty of colour, personality and that irreverent spark the brand has become known for.

The company’s mission has always stretched well beyond wardrobe essentials. OddBalls have already raised more than £1 million for charity, and every pack they sell comes with a printed testicular cancer ‘Check Yourself Guide’ — a literal reminder to look after what most men would rather not talk about.

This latest collaboration goes a step further. Ten per cent of net sales from all West Ham United x OddBalls items will be donated directly to DT38, the foundation created to honour Dylan Tombides, the gifted West Ham and Australia forward who lost his life to testicular cancer in 2014 at just 20 years old. His legacy, fiercely protected and powerfully championed, lives on through the foundation founded by his mother Tracy and the Tombides family.

DT38 remains an official charity partner of West Ham United, pushing tirelessly to educate young men about testicular cancer, encourage regular self-checking and improve early diagnosis. In short, they’re saving lives by making sure no one waits too long.

DT38 Founder and CEO Tracy Tombides welcomed the new era of support with open arms: “DT38 continue to recognise the strong support from West Ham United with their upcoming collaboration with OddBalls. With DT38 receiving 10% of the revenue from sales of this collaboration we are able to steadily increase our demand for resources that go hand in hand when we partner in the community to educate and raise awareness of testicular cancer.”

She adds a reminder that cuts straight to the heart of the mission: “By supporting this collaboration, DT38 can continue its mission to save lives through Dylan’s story and legacy by focusing on early detection and getting that message out there that delay is deadly – get educated.”

Former West Ham winger and Dylan’s teammate Matt Jarvis echoed the sentiment with his own tribute: “Dylan was a great footballer, teammate, but most importantly an amazing person and I think it’s brilliant to see the Club continue to honour his legacy by collaborating with OddBalls.

Anything that raises awareness on testicular cancer, encourages early detection and ultimately saves lives is vitally important, it’s amazing to see a percentage of funds raised go directly to DT38 to support their life-saving work.”

OddBalls’ Head of Partnerships & Licensing, Matthew Gibson, offered his take on the launch: “Everyone at OddBalls is delighted to see the launch of official West Ham United X OddBalls underwear! Both brands share a passion for top-quality products and great causes, so it’s a perfect fit!

“10% of sales will go to the DT38 Foundation, one of West Ham’s principal charities that raises awareness of testicular cancer and its diagnosis. We’re looking forward to keeping people comfy – and checking themselves – this Christmas, and for a long time to come.”

With the holidays fast approaching, the timing isn’t accidental. Supporters can now wrap themselves — or someone else — in something that’s not only comfortable but carries a message that matters.
