The competition will close at 12:00 PM on 13th April, with fans encouraged to submit as early as possible, so as not to miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime.

The fixture will mark the second instalment of the Big Summer Kick-Off, with Harlequins taking on Bath at London’s iconic Twickenham Stadium.

The annual event has been designed with the whole Harlequins fans base in mind, with fantastic entertainment and activities suitable for all ages.

Fans can join the masses, and participate in the iconic player walk to Twickenham, from The Stoop. On arrival, fans can head to the West Fan Village at Twickenham Stadium, which will be filled with free rides for all the family to enjoy.

Ahead of kick-off, musical icons Kaiser Chiefs will be performing, as fans can expect off-field entertainment to match the electricity on the pitch.

Additionally, the day will see the under 10’s community rugby festival taking place on Twickenham’s turf, with 10 affiliate teams from Bath and 10 from the Harlequins community competing.

The day will also see the culmination of the inaugural Harlequins Cup, with the finals of the Under 15 and 16 categories of Boys & Girls competitions will be held at the Twickenham Stoop on the morning of 22 April, as well as affiliate clubs from Bath and Harlequins playing on the pitch at Twickenham Stadium before the Men’s match.

Adrian Wells, Chief Marketing Officer, commented:

“We are less than one month away from our huge Big Summer Kick Off event on April 22 at Twickenham Stadium….and this time around, we really need your help!

“We are really excited about the launch of our Summer Squad competition, giving children the chance to experience what our fantastic staff go through in the buildup to such an event.

The Big Summer Kick-Off always promises a fantastic atmosphere, and for us to this year be able to give our young supporters an additional way of getting involved is something we are looking forward to.

“From ball boys and girls to commentators, competition winners will play a crucial part in the build-up, as well as during the action on the day, providing them with memories that will last a lifetime, and hopefully encourage them to engage with the club, and the sport of rugby union as a whole.”

Harlequins Captain, Stephen Lewies, added: “The success of a rugby team goes way beyond the players and the Head Coach. It is a team sport, involving everyone behind the scenes, from the club photographers to the commentators, to the ball collection team.

“So much goes into a Harlequins match day, and it is going to be a great to be able to involve these young competition winners, so they can get a taste of a Premiership rugby union match up close.”
