Coco Gauff Unveils Punk-Inspired New Balance Wimbledon Outfit at SW19

Coco Gauff Wimbledon Outfit

Coco Gauff didn’t just stride onto Centre Court at Wimbledon yesterday—she made an entrance. The two-time Grand Slam champion debuted a custom New Balance outfit that turned just as many heads as her tennis did. And rightly so. The kit is a masterclass in how to blend tradition and rebellion, elegance and edge—all wrapped in a crisply tailored nod to British punk.

New Balance’s bespoke design for Coco Gauff pays homage to the storied history of Wimbledon while embracing everything that makes Coco one of the sport’s most compelling modern athletes.

Think corseted structure meets kilted swagger—tailoring that’s as sharp as her backhand, with subtle hints of British attitude stitched into every seam.

“I have said it before but when I look good, I feel good and that helps me get ready for big moments,” Gauff said. “This kit is so special and I have loved pushing the limits with the New Balance team to blend fashion and performance.”

Mission accomplished.

The look was finished with a brand-new colourway of her signature shoe—the Coco CG2 Wimbledon edition. It’s a visual serve-and-volley of tradition and innovation: a clean, classic white base punctuated by an apple green “N”, a direct nod to the hallowed grass courts of SW19. This isn’t just tennis gear—it’s armour for a modern champion.

Julie Pike, New Balance’s Senior Vice President of Global Apparel, summed it up: “In collaboration with Coco, we designed a look that honours her talent, presence and everything she represents as a generational athlete.

We drew on New Balance’s craft and performance heritage to create something worthy of the Wimbledon stage. Blending style and sport in a fresh, elevated way, this design was built to let Coco shine.”

And shine she does.

This isn’t just a fashion moment—it’s a cultural statement. In a tournament defined by crisp whites and buttoned-up tradition, Coco Gauff is a shot of espresso in your afternoon tea. The ensemble she sported at Wimbledon is more than apparel; it’s a declaration: the future of tennis doesn’t have to dress down to fit in.

From the punk-rock accents of her outfit to the performance-driven polish of the Coco CG2s, this is Coco Gauff owning the stage, rewriting the script, and proving—yet again—that she’s not just part of the game’s future. She is its present.
