Buying a new television for the football season usually involves a brutally simple exchange: the retailer gets your money and the living room gets a larger black rectangle.

The TCL cashback and prize giveaway adds a more interesting wrinkle. From 12 August to 22 September 2026, UK customers buying selected TCL TVs can claim £100 cashback, while qualifying soundbars and gaming monitors carry £50 cashback.

Every successful cashback claimant is also entered into a draw advertised as offering a 1-in-20 chance of winning the full cost of the product back.

The timing is hardly accidental. TCL has pitched the promotion at viewers preparing for another Premier League campaign, borrowing the competition’s 20-team format for the 1-in-20 prize mechanic.

It is neat marketing, but the useful part for shoppers is simpler: the cashback is separate from the draw. Customers who buy an eligible product and make a valid claim can receive the stated cashback amount; the chance to recover the entire purchase price comes afterwards through the prize draw.

That distinction is worth keeping clear, particularly with promotions where the largest number naturally attracts the largest typeface.

Which TCL products are included?

The television side of the campaign centres on selected SQD-Mini LED and RGB-Mini LED models. TCL specifically names the X11L-UK, C8L-UK, C7L-UK and RM9L-UK among the range being promoted.

Eligible TV buyers can claim £100 cashback. Selected TCL soundbars and gaming monitors qualify for £50 cashback.

The offer is available online and in-store through participating retailers, but it does not follow that every TCL television, monitor or soundbar is included. Anyone buying specifically because of the promotion should check the eligible-product list and retailer requirements before reaching the till — physical or otherwise.

How the 1-in-20 full refund draw works

Once a customer has made a qualifying cashback claim, TCL says that customer will also be entered into a prize draw with a 1-in-20 chance of receiving the full cost of the purchased product back.

That is the campaign’s real attention-grabber. £100 off a television is useful; the possibility of having the whole purchase price returned has rather more dressing-room-celebration potential.

It is still a prize draw rather than a guaranteed second rebate, so the sensible comparison remains the actual selling price of the product after any cashback. The potential full refund is the bonus, not the arithmetic on which to base the purchase.

TCL puts the Premier League front and centre

James Parker, Head of Sales and Trade Marketing, TCL Electronics UK said: “As we are on the verge of another huge Premier League season getting underway, people will inevitably be thinking about how they not just watch the game at home, but immerse themselves in it.

With the launch of this promotion, we are giving customers cashback on their latest TCL TV, soundbars and monitors, plus a genuine chance to win the whole cost back, making the start of this season as memorable as Arsenal’s finish to last season.”

The football positioning gives TCL a timely reason to put its newer display technology in front of sports viewers, without requiring customers to decode the finer points of panel engineering before kick-off.

When does the TCL cashback promotion end?

The promotion runs until 22 September 2026. Full terms, eligible products and claim instructions are available through TCL’s promotion site at tclpromotions.com/platform/1in20win.

For shoppers already planning a television, soundbar or monitor upgrade, the calculation is pleasingly uncomplicated: check the model, check the retailer, make the claim.

The 1-in-20 draw can supply the fantasy. Football already provides quite enough of that.
