New Balance has unveiled a limited-edition 1080v15 created exclusively for the UAE, with the new release taking inspiration from the communities, movement and everyday energy that continue to shape life across the Emirates.
Available from May 22, the UAE-exclusive version of the 1080v15 is less “look at me” and more “I know exactly where I’m going”, which, in the world of limited-edition trainers, is something of a small miracle.
A UAE-Only Take On The 1080v15

The launch follows the arrival of the new 1080v15 earlier this year and gives one of New Balance’s most recognisable running silhouettes a regional identity.
Rather than throwing every design idea at the wall and hoping something sticks, the UAE-exclusive edition keeps things clean and deliberate. A white upper forms the base, while red and green detailing appears on both heels and the tips of the laces.
It is a quiet nod to place, not a shouting contest. And for a shoe tied to the rhythm of running culture in the Emirates, that feels rather more considered than the usual limited-edition theatre.
Inspired By The Communities Of The Emirates
The special-edition 1080v15 has been built around New Balance’s “Run Your Way” philosophy, a line that speaks to movement as something personal rather than prescriptive.
Some people run for competition. Some run for clarity. Some run because the day has been absolute chaos and a few miles are cheaper than therapy. All roads, in this case, are valid.
The shoe reflects that idea of movement on one’s own terms, with New Balance positioning the release as a celebration of those who keep showing up, moving forward and finding their own rhythm.
Why The UAE Matters To New Balance
The UAE holds particular significance for New Balance. The brand established its Middle East subsidiary in 2019, and the country remains home to its regional hub for the wider Middle East, Africa and India business.
Since then, New Balance has steadily grown its presence across the region through running culture, grassroots participation, New Balance Run Clubs and community-led initiatives.
That gives this release a little more backbone than a simple colourway drop. It is tied to the brand’s longer-term regional strategy and its “In It For The Long Run” approach — a phrase that, for once, does not feel entirely like it was assembled in a conference room with stale biscuits.
Stuart Henwood, Senior Director at New Balance, Middle East, Africa and India, said “The UAE is where our journey in this region began, and today it remains home to our regional hub for the wider MEAI business, making it an incredibly important market for us. Over the years, we’ve continued to deepen our presence here through running culture, grassroots participation, New Balance Run Clubs, and the communities that shape how people move every day.
As a brand at the intersection of sport and culture, we see how movement here goes beyond performance. At a time when communities are showing up, supporting one another and continuing to move forward in their own way, we wanted to recognize that spirit. ‘Run Your Way’ reflects the belief that there is no single way to move through sport or life, and that every pace, path and purpose is valid.
This UAE-exclusive 1080v15 reflects that mindset and a way to celebrate the communities here that keep moving, keep participating and keep finding their own rhythm. For us, that is what ‘In It For The Long Run’ truly means in the UAE.”
Price And Availability
The UAE-exclusive New Balance 1080v15 will be available from May 22 across select stores, priced at AED 899.
Quantities will be limited, which should give the release immediate appeal among UAE-based runners, collectors and those who appreciate a trainer with a sense of place rather than a desperate need for attention.
For New Balance, it is another step in strengthening its relationship with the Emirates. For runners in the UAE, it is a local edition of a familiar name, designed with restraint, rooted in community and built around the simple act of keeping going.
And really, that is running in its purest form: one foot, then the other, preferably in something that does not look like it was designed by a committee trapped inside a highlighter pen.
