There comes a point every November when the group chat fills with ambitious plans for Christmas drinks, festive dinners and that long-overdue catch-up nobody has quite managed to organise since Easter.
Then comes the difficult bit. Finding a date everyone can actually make.
Las Iguanas is offering a little encouragement this year, with £5 fajitas and complimentary festive drinks appearing on its November calendar. The two promotions run separately, giving diners a couple of opportunities to get together before the December diary becomes completely unmanageable.
And with fajitas normally costing around £20, according to the restaurant chain, the first deal is certainly worth a closer look.

From Sunday 1 November until Thursday 12 November 2026, Las Iguanas is offering fajitas for £5 on eligible Sunday-to-Thursday visits.
That means diners can enjoy one of the restaurant’s signature sizzling dishes for a considerably smaller outlay than usual, provided they visit on the right day.
There is a small distinction worth knowing before ordering.
Steak and mixed fajitas are not included at the standard £5 promotional price, although both can be ordered for an additional £2.50, taking the offer price to £7.50.
To claim the deal, customers need to sign up and obtain an exclusive promotional code through Las Iguanas.
For anyone contemplating a midweek meal with friends, it offers an alternative to the usual arrangement of spending twenty minutes discussing where to eat and considerably longer deciding who owes what.
Free Christmas Cocktails Arrive on 16 November
Once the fajita promotion finishes, Las Iguanas is moving on to festive drinks.
From Monday 16 November to Friday 27 November 2026, customers can claim a complimentary Jingle Juice Christmas cocktail, normally priced at £10.95, or choose a Spiced Berry Sparkler mocktail instead.
The promotion runs Monday to Friday during that period and is available exclusively through the Las Iguanas app.
Customers must show their eligible in-app perk to redeem the drink, so this is one occasion when checking your phone before heading to the bar is probably sensible.
The restaurant is also promoting additional app-based rewards and competitions throughout the festive period, although the two headline November offers are likely to be the more immediate attraction for anyone organising a get-together.
Two Offers, Two Sets of Dates
The distinction between the promotions matters.
The £5 fajita offer runs on Sundays through Thursdays until 12 November, while the complimentary cocktail or mocktail promotion starts on 16 November and applies on weekdays until 27 November.
They are not running simultaneously, and the redemption methods differ.
Las Iguanas is positioning both deals as part of its early Christmas celebrations, with its familiar mix of Mexican and South American-inspired food and cocktails providing the setting.
