The NFL has officially teamed up with Apple Music to power the Super Bowl Halftime Show, bringing the worldâs biggest music and sports event together with one of the most influential music platforms.
The multi-year deal kicks off with Super Bowl LVII on February 12, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona, marking the first-ever Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show.
âMusic and sports hold a special place in our hearts,â says Oliver Schusser, Appleâs VP of Apple Music and Beats. âWeâre looking forward to even more epic performances next year and beyond.â
What Does This Mean for Fans?
Expect exclusive content, sneak peeks, and behind-the-scenes access in the lead-up to the big show. You can follow @AppleMusic on TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter for all the latest updates.
And if the 120 million viewers who tuned in last year for Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamarâs history-making set are anything to go by, Appleâs first outing is sure to be next-level.
Apple Music + Super Bowl Halftime Show = A Perfect Match
Apple has a long history of revolutionising the music industryâfrom iPod and iTunes to Apple Musicâs 90-million-song catalogue and Spatial Audio-powered immersive listening. Now, itâs stepping into the biggest music stage of them all.
âApple Music entertains, inspires, and motivates millions of people around the world,â says Nana-Yaw Asamoah, the NFLâs SVP of Partner Strategy. âWe couldnât think of a better partner for the worldâs most-watched musical performance.â
