Prior to UKAD, she was Deputy Chief Executive at Alcohol Concern, where she developed the pioneering Dry January campaign, now adopted by millions in the UK.

Marlene Watson-Tara is a high profiled and dedicated health counsellor and teacher with over 35 years’ experience of transforming lives. A graduate of T. Colin Campbell Centre for Nutrition Studies eCornell, New York and an expert in her field on plant based nutrition.

She specialises in plant-based nutrition, drawing from her studies in Macrobiotic Nutrition, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and her certification from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies.
