Whether it’s stunning landscapes lined with mountains or streets filled with amazing architecture, there’s no denying that Italy is home to some of the best places to explore as a runner.
But which cities in Italy are actually the best for runners?
In order to calculate the index, Puma’s independent data collection partner gathered data on some of the most important factors when it comes to running; air pollution, temperature, traffic congestion, the number of running clubs, elevation, the amount of green space, and the quality of water.
Each factor was weighted fairly to give an overall score and reveal the best city in Italy for runners.
Some of the key findings are as follows:
- Rome is Italia’s top City for Runners
- Verona is Italia’s 2nd best city
- Milan is Italia’s 3rd best city
- Reggio di Calabria ranked last
