In a move that’s more heartwarming than a Sunday roast at your local, Fuller, Smith & Turner has announced a two-year partnership with Dreams Come True—a national charity delivering magical experiences to children living with serious or life-limiting conditions in the UK’s most deprived areas.
Over the past year, the charity has brought joy and relief to more than 5,000 children, stepping in with experiences that provide more than just a day out—they offer something priceless: hope, memories, and dignity. Now, with Fuller, Smith & Turner joining the mission, a slice of that magic will come courtesy of something as simple as ordering a children’s meal.
As part of the initiative, 34 of Fuller’s country pubs—many dotted around Hampshire—will donate 50p from every kids’ meal sold to Dreams Come True. That pocket change adds up to powerful change. In a Britain where one in three children now lives in poverty, this kind of grassroots generosity is no longer a ‘nice-to-have’. It’s a lifeline.
And it’s not just about numbers. It’s about names—like Rosie.
Rosie is six, from Hampshire, and lives with Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalus, and Epilepsy. Her dream was simple: an adventure that didn’t exclude her. Dreams Come True made it happen, whisking Rosie and her family off to Chester Zoo for an overnight stay that ticked every box—accessible, sensory-friendly, and unforgettable. Lanterns glowed, penguins got fed, and a personalised water bottle alongside a cuddly red panda turned the trip into something far beyond a family day out.
Rosie’s mum summed it up best: “Such an amazing experience.”
Sam Bourke, Marketing Director at Fuller’s, sees this partnership as an extension of the brand’s long-standing role in its communities. “As a team, we feel privileged to be supporting Dreams Come True in this way,” said Bourke.
“Families are at the heart of many of the communities we serve and with 34 of our pubs participating, the Dreams Come True team have assured us that this donation from our children’s meals will make a real difference in many families’ lives. Dreams Come True has proved it really does bring joy to those who need it most and we look forward to seeing how our donation is invested.”
Importantly, the rest of the Fuller’s Managed Pubs and Hotels estate will continue donating 50p per kids’ meal to their primary charity partner, Special Olympics GB, supporting children and adults with intellectual disabilities through sport.
Lisa King OBE, Chief Executive of Dreams Come True, echoed the sentiment. “We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen as a charity partner by Fuller’s,” said King.
“As a brand with family at its heart, Fuller’s shares our values and mission to bring joy, happiness and lasting impact to children who are facing extremely tough circumstances across the UK. We are immensely grateful for Fuller’s support, which will help us continue to deliver magic at a time when children need it most. Thank you to the Fuller’s team for being true #DreamMakers.”
The partnership will run for two years—a meaningful window of opportunity to turn difficult childhoods into stories of resilience, wonder, and joy.
So next time you’re at a Fuller’s pub and hear the clatter of crayons and the giggle of kids over fish fingers, just remember: that meal’s doing more than feeding a child. It’s helping another one dream.
