To find out, GIGACalculator.com mapped the highest-rated places to have brunch on London’s tube lines by extracting Google star ratings, as well as ranking each venue in terms of ‘Instagrammability’ and price.

The highest-rated brunch per tube line:

Central: The Common E2 comes in first with 4.6 stars on Google. In this cafe, brunch is served every day at any time! Their diverse menu and perfectly crafted coffee served by friendly staff makes you feel you’re at a friend’s home.

Jubilee: If you’re after a coffee that blows your mind, you’ll want to visit Watch House Tower Bridge (4.6 stars)! Placed in a former spice warehouse, they’re proud to be leaders in coffee and varied brunch dishes. 

Circle and District: Cafètarte is the first on the list of best brunches with 4.6 stars. Located in the main shopping street in Kensington, this gem offers a diverse and seasonal brunch menu that ranges from baked goods to hummus and sweet potatoes. 

Hammersmith & City: Vegan Yes Shoreditch (4.8 stars) may not be the first option for those who are looking for a lazy brunch, but their fusion of Italian and Korean cuisines is a must-have.

Bakerloo: Mildreds Soho tops the list situated on the Bakerloo Line with 4.6 stars on Google. Located in an 18th century house in the heart of Soho, this restaurant is perfect for a vegetarian and vegan brunch as it’s 100% meat-free since 1988. 

Metropolitan: With 4.7 stars on Google, Amber offer a brunch menu inspired by their eastern Mediterranean roots and the modern London spirit with artisan pastries, sweet treats and coffee. 

Northern: Pophams Bakery rates 4.8 stars on Google. This artisan bakery has a cosy atmosphere and, specialising in sourdough bread and croissants, it’s ideal for a relaxed and lazy brunch!

Piccadilly: With 4.8 stars on Google, the intimate DoBar is a prime brunch spot on the Piccadilly line. The intimate venue has a wide and diverse brunch menu – six types of toast, seven varieties of pancakes and nine options for eggs. 

Victoria: Stir Coffee (4.6 stars) in the bustling area of Brixton offers vegan options for cakes. It also serves sandwiches, pastries and quiches.

*Methodology:

To achieve the results, Gigacalculator searched for the highest-rated brunches with at least 4.5 stars and 300 comments from Google users. Google Maps was used to find the nearest tube station of each venue. 

To discover the most affordable brunches of the list, GIGAcalculator searched for each venue’s price on TripAdvisor. 

The most Instagrammable brunches data represents live Instagram figures, collected on 10/09/2020. 

The list venues selected include all types of brunch, late lunch and Sunday lunch menus.
