It’s about time we had some good news when it comes to events, right? Well for summer 2021, organisers have confirmed that the action-packed Salomon Festival will be heading to the English Chiltern Hills on Saturday 7th August 2021, bringing a loaded day of timed runs, guided hikes, workshops, yoga classes, food stalls, live music and so much more.
Following on from the success of previous events in London, Edinburgh and the Peak District in 2019, organisers are welcoming participants to the new location in the stunning Chilterns, giving runners and hikers an opportunity to escape from the monotony of life in lockdown and immerse themselves in nature for a day of outdoor action in beautiful Tring.
Of course with a new location comes an exciting new schedule suitable for all abilities, including a brand new 5k timed route to go alongside the 10k and 20k timed runs.
In addition, guided runs and 1 and 2 hour guided hike adventures will be led by the fantastic Salomon hike leaders to explore some of the picturesque Chiltern countryside.
Over at the Festival Village there will be even more action, from practical bushcraft workshops, inspiring talks from some very inspirational people in the trail running and outdoor industry, as well as an opportunity to try out some of Salomon’s very latest gear (for free!) in the Demopool Area.
This year’s festival-goers will have total flexibility to plan their very own custom itinerary on the day, so whether a seasoned trail runner or simply eager to find out about the benefits of trail running or hiking, the Salomon Festival will continue to bring together a community of like-minded souls at all stages of their trail running journey.
Covid measures will be in line with government guidelines – participants will be updated.
The Salomon Festival will take place on Saturday 7th August at Church Farm, Station Road, Aldbury, HP23 5RS. Ticket prices start from £15 and are available to purchase here.
