Voted the best Half Marathon in the UK for three years in a row, the Ealing Half Marathon on Sunday 25th September 2022 is set to celebrate in style as participants will race in their 10th Anniversary edition.
The 13.1-mile course will start in Lammas Park and will be run in a single lap, taking in parts of Central Ealing, Montpelier, Pitshanger, West Ealing, Hanwell and St Stephens before returning to Lammas Park via Uxbridge Road.
With event organisers confirming their ambitions for it to be the best Ealing Half Marathon to date, participants near and far are preparing themselves for a celebration of running across West London.
Amongst the running community, the 10th anniversary hopes to encourage more people to make running a part of their everyday lives, promote its health and wellbeing benefits, and champion running as a means of active travel.
Sandra Courtney, Race Director, commented, “We can’t wait to welcome all our runners to The 10th Anniversary of the Ealing Half Marathon! This year is going to be a celebration for how far we have come since the London Olympic Games and for everything else to come in the future! ”
“We’ll have a fantastic team of 700 volunteers all ready to make the day run smoothly and we can’t wait to cheer on every single runner taking on the race! Good luck to everyone, and we’ll see you on the day!”
Set up as part of The 2012 London’s Olympic Games legacy, the Ealing Half Marathon is a firm fixture in the autumn race calendar and a big favorite among the running community with the famous #EalingFeeling experienced from all.
This year also sees RaceNation Events, the event delivery arm of RaceNation, partnering with EHM Legacy and the community interest company (CIC) ahead of the Ealing Half Marathon’s 10th Anniversary event.
The deal ensures a strong future of Ealing’s famous half marathon along with its popular supporting events; the Ealing Mini Mile, Osterley Park 10K and the
