The FORTIS CHAMPIONSHIPS can be described as the world’s most inclusive fitness competition. With zero reasons to be intimidated, the workout appeals to a multi-generational audience and requires no specific training or preparation.
Whether you’re 18 or 80, the harder and faster your team works, the more challenging the movements become – meaning you dictate the level of effort and pace that you work at.
If you are a complete newcomer to fitness, or an elite athlete, the FORTIS CHAMPIONSHIPS is THE versatile challenge that suits everyone.
Free to enter, The FORTIS Championships challenges teams of two across the nation to sweat, squat and lunge through ‘HIIT without the Hurt’ classes at select Everyone Active Leisure Centres.
Favoured by athletes and football legends Alan Shearer and Dion Dublin, the famous FORTIS, powered by Speedflex classes are 30-minute inclusive workouts, based around Speedflex’s unique personalised resistance concept, which allows every participant to train at their own level.
Those who make it to the concluding stages of the contest will bag themselves a place at the FORTIS Championship star-studded final, taking place on Saturday 25th November at Harrow Lodge Everyone Active Leisure Centre and hosted by Speedflex ambassador and TV superstar Ben Shephard:
“There is a trend towards very hardcore competitions at the moment, almost a return to the ‘no pain no gain’ archaic approach to fitness.
We want to change that, and to instil a real sense of community as well as healthy competition into a completely unique challenge that absolutely anyone could enter. FORTIS CHAMPIONSHIPS is exactly that.
FORTIS CHAMPIONSHIPS want to represent a more democratic approach to challenge culture, where everyone is welcome, everyone is able to get involved and mostly, everyone is empowered.
Best of luck!”
