For many, running is a means to sustain both physical and mental health, and currently it has been impacted throughout the world.
To address the needs of those who have turned to running or had to step away, adidas brought the Runners’ community spirit together with Facebook Mentorships, to create a virtual space for connection and support.
Adidas Runners is an international community built on the passion for running and bonded by the support they show each other.
Following social distancing and health guidelines the group went virtual, providing various classes and sessions through social platforms on performance, nutrition, mindset and recovery.
Facebook Mentorship leverages the power of connection to build a community that cares.
Helping group members make those meaningful connections so they can find support, give advice, and reach their goals – no matter where they are in the world.
Now, with this partnership mindset coaches Christian Straka from LA and Ameerah Omar from NYC will be able to share their expertise in an even more intimate way. They will be using real-life examples in sports, mindfulness and well-being that would normally have only been available in person.
The pilot program kicks off in North America aiming to be scaled to even more communities.
