Leading audio-fitness app WithU move from strength to strength as co-founder Tim Benjamin is appointed as the British Athletics Head of Long Sprints and Relays.
The former-Olympic 400m runner co-founded WithU to deliver audio-based personal training throughout every workout, personalised to the users chosen goal and selected fitness level, direct to their device.
Tim will continue his leadership role at WithU, continuing to oversee product and content while he works with the Olympic team in the lead up to Tokyo and beyond.
The audio-coaching app continues working apace to drive industry elevation and user growth with the appointment of industry veteran Rory Knight as Performance Director.
Rory, who has previously been voted Men’s Health Smartest Coach will oversee each workout performance on the fitness platform to ensure coaching is of the highest technical standard.
WithU has also re-signed current Olympic sprinter Harry Aikines-Aryeetey as one of their trainers on the app.
The coaches and fitness professionals are selected to be part of the dedicated WithU team to support the curation of programmes and provide expert-led audio guidance.
“We are delighted to see our Content Director and Co-Founder Tim, fulfilling such an important role with British Athletics, it is a testament to his skill set and character,” says Steve Clarke, CEO of WithU.
“Tim will be busy in his dual role; however, he has laid solid foundations on the WithU product and content infrastructure, and with the appointment of Rory, content and performance will continue to grow from strength to strength with our incredible talent like Harry and our other trainers. It’s an exciting time for WithU, as more and more consumers embrace the trend for audio fitness.”
WithU is available on iOS and Android for just £9.99 per month. Access is unlimited, with no additional pay-to-unlock content.
