When they’re not sculpting the most sought-after bodies in the world, celebrity personal trainers could be earning over £6m per year on Instagram, according to research conducted by personal training course providers, OriGym.
The report analyses the trainers’ follower count, celebrity clientele, post engagement and uses the Infiki Instagram money calculator to rank the highest earners on Instagram.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s PT earning the most per post at £12k
Origym reveals Dwayne Johnson’s PT, Ross Dickerson, is the richest trainer with estimated earnings of almost £12k per sponsored Instagram post.
Ross now boasts 2.6m followers on Instagram, classing him as one of the top celebrity personal trainers worldwide in terms of expertise, and online following.
As an avid Insta poster, Ross has scheduled over 500 posts in the last 12 months, making him the most Insta-active PT on the list and also the most likely to rake in the highest earnings, with a potential £6.3m return.

The personal trainers who have helped sculpt Madonna’s famous abs, J-Lo’s booty and Kim K’s iconic curves all feature in the top 30 richest PTs.

She sees one of the biggest Instagram pay packets and can charge up to £5k per post on the social media platform. Similarly, Perrie Edwards’ and Jade Thirwall’s personal trainer, Danielle Peazer, could earn £4.8k per post.
Having trained the likes of Victoria Beckham, Robert Downey Jr and Nicole Richie, Tracy Anderson is also recognised for her workout DVDs and online routines and comes in 6th place.
One surprise placement was Simone De La Rue, who came in 12th on the list but has one of the most exclusive roster of celebrity clients – Chrissy Teigen, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock and Anne Hathaway.

Although personal training and fitness is the main source of income for this list of top 10 trainers, some could be making millions of pounds through Instagram endorsements and sponsored posts.
By multiplying the average yearly posts with the estimated earnings per post, OriGym was able to calculate the potential annual earnings.
