Total Fitness Health Club has launched a series of digital workouts, including gym-based videos, available exclusively to its members.

The digital workouts, available via the Total Fitness app, feature a range of guided full body workouts from the gym floor as well as workouts for at home use including Yoga, Zumba, HIIT, Pilates, Boxing, and family friendly workouts – all of which are hosted by Total Fitness’s fitness team.

The newly launched In Club workouts are now available to members, to coincide with the reopening of gyms for the first time this year.

Bridging the gap between the digital space and gym floor, these videos provide guided workouts for members to follow in a gym environment, at both a beginner and intermediate level.

Total Fitness’ new content studio The Workshop, which is based at the Wilmslow club, has allowed the health club to create its content independently.

With the fitness and leisure industry remaining closed throughout the majority of 2020 and the first three months of this year, this diverse range of digital workouts have been designed to help members, of all ages and exercise abilities, in the transition to returning to a gym environment.

The In Club workouts join a portfolio of At Home workouts that launched on the Total Fitness app in late 2020 to allow members to bring the expertise of Total Fitness’ fitness team to their home environment.

With accessibility for all members of any fitness level in mind, these At Home workouts are of varying lengths, allowing members to combine exercises to create their perfect workout.

This is the latest initiative from the health club brand which works to provide members an all-encompassing 360 approach to fitness.

Kerry Curtis, Head of Brand Development at Total Fitness, comments: “We are delighted to have launched such a unique offering through the In Club digital workouts and are thrilled by the positive response from members so far.

“This initiative has been motivated both by the desire to add value for our members and to support them as they return to the club environment by taking away the potentially intimidating nature of gym workouts and supporting in decision making.

We see this continuing to act as an integral part of our 360-fitness offering, particularly as many members are taking a hybrid approach to their workout routine.

“Going forward, we are already working on broadening our offering with digital mindfulness, meditation, and recovery sessions. We are also developing a series of instructional swimming videos to add to our growing In Club content.”
