Today, adidas pulled back the curtain on the team kits destined for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
With a unified design story, these kits are a celebration of each nation’s unique identity while embodying the fiery passion that drives every athlete.
Jacqueline King, Design Director of Specialist Sports at adidas, articulated the philosophy behind these kits: “Our belief is that there is no greater demonstration of what it means to design for an athlete than a tournament that showcases the breadth and variety of sport.
Alongside the goal of supporting the athlete to perform at their best when the pressure builds, these collections seek to connect them to their home nations, via designs inspired by their individual national identities.
These elements are brought together in a kit which is grounded in simplicity – resulting in a sleek, modern collection.”
Unified Design with a Singular Story
Every athlete shares an intense passion for their sport, a flame that burns brightest at major international events.
In Paris, adidas aims to encapsulate this fervour through bold fonts and intricate graphics adorning all apparel for its 15 sponsored teams.
These design elements, featuring a repeated line pattern brought to life with vibrant colours, symbolize the fiery passion poised to ignite in the heat of competition.
In an unprecedented move, 86% of all competition, podium, and village wear for adidas-sponsored teams are created with universal design principles.
This ensures athletes with and without disabilities can compete in comfort and without distraction.

Adidas, guided by the vision of its founder, has spent a century understanding athletes and immersing itself in their experiences.
This deep expertise is evident in the new collection, crafted with pieces tailored to meet athletes’ needs across various sports, from boxing to wrestling. This commitment to excellence ensures that athletes receive only the best.
Footwear for Champions
Beyond team kits, adidas is also launching the 2024 athlete pack—a 49-strong footwear collection supporting athletes across 41 disciplines.
Over 20 of these designs will be showcased during the summer’s competitions. The footwear features a striking orange and pink outsole set against a muted black upper, once again representing the shared fiery passion of these elite competitors.
