Team NB Athlete and international track star Sydney McLaughlin and New Balance officially reveal the New Balance x Sydney Signature Collection: a footwear and apparel collection that showcases her evolution from young track athlete, to a professional Team NB Athlete, 400m Hurdles World Record holder and reigning Olympic Gold Medalist.
The collection features a stylish hooded shrug, a sleek crop bra, a warmup poncho, a cross body bag, a jumpsuit as well as a range of tees, tights and pants in a chic iridescent colour.
The collection also features all-new colourways of the popular 327 lifestyle silhouette and the performance FuelCell Propel Remix v2 giving consumers full look options that can take them from a run to a night out on the town.
From initial concepting to launch, Sydney played an integral role in the design, fit and styling processes of each piece in the collection.
From design elements like the butterfly that alludes to her evolution as an athlete, to one of her mottos, “be the first you,” a message that expresses her determination to not be like anyone else.

The New Balance x Sydney Signature Collection is versatile and can be used for performance but also fashion pieces that can be worn with almost anything.
“It’s a dream come true to create my first signature collection with New Balance, and to truly be part of the process from start to finish.
This collection is all about staying true to yourself with pieces that inspire people to be authentically true to who they are,” says Sydney.

At 21 years-old, Sydney continues to harness and embody what it takes to be the best in the world.
She is an inspiration for young athletes everywhere and epitomises the importance of claiming your moment, the central tenet of New Balance’s ‘We Got Now’ campaign in which she recently was featured.
“From the first meeting to the final approval process Syd has been so engaged in bringing this to life.
