Hayley Palmer, the ever-charming TV presenter known for her fun-loving interview style, gives us a peek behind the curtain at how a sprinkle of positivity and a good deal of self-belief have propelled her career to new heights.

At 38, Hayley’s got a sparkle in her eye when she talks about her journey. “I always knew I wanted to do something big,” she says, “but it took me a while to believe it was possible. Changing my mindset was the key.”

Laughing about her chatty nature, she recalls, “I was always in hot water for talking too much at school.

Now, I make a living from it and I absolutely love it!” Hayley’s passion for storytelling shines through as she talks about the joy of uncovering the unique stories each person has to share.

Hayley’s days now begin with what she calls her ‘mindset workout’—a series of gratitude reflections, visualization exercises, and motivational videos from inspirational figures like Tony Robbins and Lisa Nichols.

“It’s like setting the stage for a day where I can tackle anything that comes my way,” she explains.

Exercise is another non-negotiable for Hayley. Pre-lockdown, she was a regular at the gym, leading dance and fitness classes that she describes as electric with energy and music.

“During lockdown, I’ve kept active with walks, but I’m buzzing to get back to my classes and that feel-good atmosphere.”

When asked how her mindset and routine contribute to her success, Hayley is quick to attribute her achievements to this balance.

“It’s about getting into the right headspace. This industry demands tough skin and tireless effort. Believing in yourself makes up half the battle; the other half is all about taking action.”

Hayley’s love for the ’80s also plays a big role in her work, especially on her ‘Memory Lane 80’s Show’. “I’ve had some brilliant moments on the show, like dancing with Stedman from FIVE STAR and attempting to sing with Limahl from Kajagoogoo—hilarious and humbling!” she giggles.

Looking to the stars she’d most love to interview, Hayley dreams big. “Michael Jackson would have been amazing, with all his incredible talent. And Kylie Minogue? She’s been my hero since I was little. What a dream that would be!”

As for what’s next, Hayley is excited about her upcoming series where guests share their all-time favorite songs. “We’re kicking off with Blue’s Antony Costa and it’s just going to be a blast from there. Don’t miss it!”

So tune in and let Hayley Palmer, with her infectious enthusiasm and genuine warmth, draw you into a world where every chat is a chance to connect and every song has a story just waiting to be told.
