British Rowing has renewed its partnership with the original outdoor change robe brand dryrobe®for a further two years, with dryrobe® becoming an Official Partner and the Official Change Robe Provider of British Rowing.
In what is an important Olympic year for the Great British Rowing Team, the partnership will see dryrobe® supply custom dryrobe®Advance change robes to senior Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
Members of British Rowing will also benefit from an exclusive member discount on dryrobe® products.
As part of the partnership, dryrobe® performance wear will be provided to the GB Rowing Team, their coaches, the Junior GB Rowing Team and the wider British Rowing staff.
The new kit will include the new dryrobe® Adapt for the Paralympic squad. All members will be sporting dryrobe®change robes, helping them to stay warm and dry in between sessions as they go about their day-to-day training.
As an extension of the partnership, dryrobe® will now sponsor two British Rowing national events, including the British Rowing Offshore & Beach Sprints Championships and the British Rowing Senior and Junior Championships.
As part of its ongoing Warmth Project, which supports organisations that share their values, dryrobe® will also donate funds to support Love Rowing, British Rowing’s Official Charity Partner.
Built with performance at its core, the dryrobe® Advance has been designed to provide warmth quickly and improve recovery after getting out of cold water.
The fast-drying lining enables athletes to train throughout the day without their recovery being compromised by a cold, damp change robe.
Alastair Marks, British Rowing CEO said: “We’re delighted to renew our partnership with dryrobe® .
Our elite athletes train so hard and making sure they recover correctly is just as important. dryrobe® plays a huge part in making sure they stay warm and dry after being out in the water.
We are also looking forward to having dryrobe® on board as a sponsor of the British Rowing Offshore & Beach Sprints Championships and the British Rowing Senior and Junior Championships, where rowers from clubs across the country will compete, extending the reach of the partnership into our community.”
Gideon Bright, dryrobe® founder and CEO, added: “We’re thrilled to continue working with British Rowing.
We pride ourselves on inspiring, enabling and improving the experience of an active outdoor lifestyle and British Rowing are completely aligned on that.
We are incredibly excited to support them for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games.”
