Entry lists for the highly anticipated World Athletics Relays Bahamas 24 have been released, revealing the participation of 893 athletes representing 54 countries.
Scheduled to take place on May 4th and 5th in Nassau, this global event promises thrilling competitions across various relay disciplines.
In the men’s 4x100m event, 32 teams are set to compete, while the women’s 4x100m will see 30 teams in action.
Additionally, 32 teams will vie for victory in the men’s 4x400m relay, followed by 27 teams in the women’s 4x400m and 30 in the mixed 4x400m.
Notable athletes gracing the event include Noah Lyles, who will represent the USA in the men’s 4x100m alongside Courtney Lindsey and Kenny Bednarek. Italy’s Olympic champion Marcell Jacobs is also slated to compete in the 4x100m event.
The women’s 4x100m relay will feature stars from last year’s triumphant USA squad, including Gabby Thomas, while formidable teams from Jamaica and Great Britain & Northern Ireland are set to challenge for the top spot.
In the women’s 4x400m, the Netherlands boasts the star power of Femke Bol, while the men’s 4x400m promises intense competition with strong teams from the USA, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Botswana, and Great Britain.
