wagamama has launched the perfect serve – ice cream wrapped in doughnut dough in three innovative flavours.
The brand new dessert called dough.chi will be available at only four wagamama restaurants exclusively during the Wimbledon tennis tournament – until 10th july.
The specially created Japanese-inspired ice cream balls will be on sale for a limited time at Wimbledon, Putney, Fulham and Wandsworth restaurants in southwest London.
The dough.chi is being billed as ‘the perfect serve’ and guests will be able to mix and match their favourite flavours.
The dish is made from three delicious cookie dough balls with an ice cream centre, garnished with passion fruit sauce, mint and icing sugar. The dough.chi is available as a mix + match with three innovative flavours: cherry, vanilla + yuzu, coconut and matcha + white chocolate. The dish is priced at £5.90.
A wagamama spokesperson said: “To celebrate Wimbledon 2022 we’re welcoming a brand new innovation to our menu at four restaurants in London. The perfect summer treat, the dough.chi comes in a variety of flavours that our guests can mix and match for their perfect serve.
The dough.chi is a real post-katsu treat, a perfect dessert to cool down after watching the match! Dough.chi is inspired by the Japanese street food ice cream dessert, mochi balls, and will only be available at Wimbeldon, Putney, Wandsworth and Fulham between 27th June and 10th July.”
