UFC GYM has partnered with Life Fitness & Hammer Strength to equip its first-ever club in the UK, which will open in Nottingham this September.
Offering members the choice of functional fitness classes, group and private MMA training, dynamic performance-based training, group classes, and MMA youth programming, the gym will be home to more than 40 pieces of premium strength training equipment from Hammer Strength, including plate-loaded, selectorised, free weights, racks and lifting platforms.
Equipment from sister brands Life Fitness, Cybex and Indoor Cycling Group (ICG®) will also be installed to support the training needs of UFC GYM®’s wide-ranging member demographic.
The install will see UFC GYM Nottingham become one of the UK’s largest Hammer Strength Training Centres; an accolade awarded to only a select number of facilities offering an extensive range of Hammer Strength equipment.
Life Fitness will also introduce Halo Fitness Cloud, its cloud-based software, designed to enhance the member experience and simplify facility management.

Located in Nottingham city centre, the 18,000 ft² site will be the first to be delivered by UFC GYM UK.
The ownership group, which has an exclusive 10-year agreement for the UK and Ireland, includes former UFC middleweight champion, Michael Bisping – who made history in 2016 as UFC’s first British champion.
The partnership will see Life Fitness equip all UK corporately owned sites, with a second UK site coming soon.
