Visitors to Paris will soon have the chance to dive into the exciting world of Olympic and Paralympic Games Timekeeping, thanks to the unveiling of the Omega Pavilion in the heart of the host city.
Nestled in the middle of the picturesque Parc de Bercy, near the Bercy Arena, the Omega Pavilion is a testament to Omega’s role as the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic and Paralympic Games – a legacy that stretches back to 1932.
This interactive venue features a series of engaging installations, allowing everyone to get hands-on with a variety of sports.
The grand opening of the Omega Pavilion was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday.
This significant event was led by Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of Omega, Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee, and Alain Zobrist, CEO of Omega Timing.

Numerous areas are dedicated to the timekeeping technologies and sporting events of the Olympic Games, offering an immersive exploration.
A standout attraction is the main Race of Champions experience, where visitors can test their sprinting skills on a 10-meter running track.
By setting themselves in real starting blocks within a stadium simulation, they can digitally compete against real Olympic or Paralympic athletes and compare their times against the best.
A video of their race is produced, allowing them to share their experience on social media.
Showcasing Omega’s most important timekeeping equipment, the Pavilion includes displays of the electronic starting pistol and the new Scan’O’Vision ULTIMATE photo-finish camera.
Each item provides a unique insight into modern timekeeping at its cutting-edge best.
In the Locker Room, visitors can interact with a real swimming starting block and open locker doors to read the biographies of Omega’s Olympic and Paralympic ambassadors. Athlete stories are also available on dedicated video screens within the Pavilion.
Additionally, Omega has created an in-depth look at the measurement of Hurdles events and designed a Swimming Pool room with genuine underwater effects.
