Top London Hypnotherapist Says Reducing Your Weight Starts With Your Mind, Not Your Body

In a study of 17,000 Covid-positive hospital patients, those with a body mass index of more than 30 (considered obese) had a 33% greater risk of dying than non-obese patients.

A separate study of people in U.K. intensive care units for the condition found that 73% were either overweight, obese or morbidly obese.

Reducing weight significantly increases your chances of surviving COVID-19, so top London Hypnotherapist Jonathan Garside from The Hypnosis Clinic in Regent St, thinks it’s time treatment was available to a wider population.

“I’ve helped many of people to achieve their weight goals”, says Jonathan, “And it all starts with getting the right attitude and thought patterns.

It’s never been more important than it is now to get fit and healthy. The government really should make hypnotherapy part of their health stimulus plan”.

It’s been widely reported that obesity increases the risk of respiratory failure, affects the immune system and may cause chronic inflammation that can rapidly escalate out of control with coronavirus infection.

Indeed, the Prime Minister himself has stated publicly that being overweight was a factor in his contracting a more severe form of the disease, and a growing body of evidence backs that up.

Nearly 2/3 of UK adults are overweight or obese, according to the National Health Service. Obesity is prevalent in 29% of adults and one in five children aged between 10 and 11.

“Making hypnotherapy more widely available is one of the most pro-active ways to protect the NHS and to help reduce the number of people with severe symptoms”, says Jonathan.

In the meantime, The Hypnosis Clinic is offering a free consultation for anyone wanting to find out more about how hypnotherapy can help to reduce and maintain weight.

The clinic is situated in the centre of London’s Regent Street, and initial consultations are also available on video link.
