TaylorMade’s latest release, the BRNR Mini Driver, merges a vintage aesthetic with advanced performance—paying homage to the Ti Bubble 2, an iconic mid-1990s driver that once dominated professional tours.
While it may stir up memories of retro designs, this sleek 304cc club is brimming with contemporary technology aimed at giving golfers more versatility both off the tee and off the deck.
Retro Meets Innovation
Inspired by the legendary Ti Bubble 2, the BRNR Mini Driver features a reimagined K-sole that nods to the original design while providing crucial updates for modern play.
This updated sole glides cleanly through the turf and reduces unwanted resistance, making those “driver off the deck” shots more attainable.
With its copper-and-black color scheme and throwback logos, the club visually transports players to golf’s gear heyday.
Beneath the surface, though, the BRNR is built to tackle today’s course demands, aiming to help golfers achieve driver-level distance with fairway-wood consistency.
Dial In Your Flight
A pair of movable weights on the sole—13g and 1.5g—gives players the ability to shape ball flight in different ways. In the standard position (13g weight in the back), the BRNR Mini Driver yields an ideal blend of distance and forgiveness. Slide that heavier weight to the front, however, and you’ll see a lower-spinning flight with a sharper trajectory, perfect for maxing out rollout on firm fairways.
Who Will Love It
Better players looking to tighten dispersion off the tee without sacrificing too much distance often turn to a Mini Driver, and the BRNR fits that profile perfectly. Its manageable head size and adjustability offer added shot-shaping potential, making it an appealing choice when tee shots demand accuracy or when launching second shots on lengthy par fives.
At the same time, the BRNR Mini Driver can be a game-changer for anyone who finds modern 460cc heads tough to hit consistently, especially those with a downward strike pattern that doesn’t optimize launch. With a larger hitting area than a 3-wood, this Mini Driver aims to provide both forgiveness and enhanced control.
Tour-Tested Performance
This compact powerhouse has already made its mark on the PGA TOUR, seeing action at both The Masters and the RBC Heritage. Tommy Fleetwood, among other pros, tested a 13.5° BRNR Mini Driver in competition, highlighting its flexibility on demanding tee shots and pivotal par fives.
“BRNR checks both boxes of versatility and reliability. The adjustability allows golfers to pinpoint their ideal ball flight, delivering distance and accuracy on narrow courses,”

A Celebratory Throwback
TaylorMade’s nod to the past began with the 2019 relaunch of the Original One—marking four decades since the first metalwood driver—followed by the 300 Mini Driver in 2021. Now, the BRNR Mini Driver continues that tradition by combining classic style and modern engineering in a 300cc range.
Its color palette, reminiscent of the Ti Bubble 2, is carried into a specially designed UST ProForce 65 shaft in black and copper. The club is topped off with a SuperStroke S-Tech grip (50g) and a retro-inspired headcover—visually confirming that sometimes you really can have the best of both worlds.
“It may look retro, but the BRNR Mini Driver has the horsepower to tackle today’s courses. We wanted to balance throwback charm with contemporary technology and performance,”
— Tomo Bystedt, Senior Director of Product Creation, Metalwoods & Carbonwood™
