19-20th May are the dates for an event with a difference. The SurfGirl Summit is Britain’s first female-focused wellbeing & adventure event.
Over 100 women from across the country will flock to Mawgan Porth in Cornwall for the SurfGirl Summit, a two-day event showcasing the most talented, inspirational and pioneering female figures in sport, adventure and wellbeing.
At the SurfGirl Summit, this collective of like-minded people will celebrate female strength, resilience and ambition with engaging talks, workshops, wellbeing activities, surfing sessions, wild swimming, yoga and more.
Inspirational and motivating speakers include Times Best Seller and Founder of Coopafeel Charity, Kris Hallenga, adventure and wildlife photographer Lucia Griggi, Surfers Against Sewage ocean activist Amy Slack, record breaker and extreme adventurer Ness Knight, founder of the first WoC Longboard Crew Amna Akhtar, ocean activist Charlie Young, South African celebrity PT Tehillah McGuinness and more. The event will be hosted by London Surf Film Festival co-founder and writer, Demi Taylor.
During the two days, participants will also connect with their wild side and indulge in a range of activities including cold water swimming, a Blue Health workshop, surfing and meditation. Then they will be able to ignite their inner fire with sound baths, women’s circles, mindfulness and fitness.
Think wellbeing, adventure, environmentalism, conservation and community all under one roof for two days of high energy, high vibes and lots of high fives.
Behind the SurfGirl Summit is the biggest female surf media in the world SurfGirl Magazine and ICF ACC Level accredited Life Coach and Blue Health Practitioner Charlotte Lodey. With over 17 years of experience, Charlotte specialises in helping women realise their potential through integrative coaching and education.
“The aim of the SurfGirl Summit is for all participants to end the two days on a high, feeling pumped and ready to take on the rest of the year with a new found confidence.
We want people to connect with their wild side through the outdoor activities, plus ignite their inner fire with meditation, mindfulness and introspective conversations.
Taking a break from the hustle and bustle is so important, more so than ever, so the retreat vibe is such an important element of this event. We want participants to relax, untether and reconnect with themselves and their surroundings.” Charlotte, Life Coach and Co-founder SurfGirl Summit.
All located on the magical and iconic north Cornish coast at the Bedruthan Hotel, Mawgan Porth, a stones throw from clean lines, rugged cliffs and salty air.
