The PUMA x Modibodi Change Room is a collaboration between the global absorbent apparel brand Modibodi and sports company PUMA.
It aims to encourage women and girls to stay active in sports by providing them with leak-proof and comfortable sportswear during their periods.
The Change Room offers both a physical and digital experience for participants.
In Sydney, Australia, there is an in-person pop-up store called The Change Room in the Pitt Street Mall. Athletes of all levels, including women, girls, and people who menstruate, are welcome to visit and swap their white or light-coloured sports uniforms for a free pair of PUMA x Modibodi 2-in-1 Active Shorts.
Additionally, attendees can exchange their old soccer boots for a new pair of PUMA women’s fit soccer boots. The IRL event takes place on July 15th and 16th, and the first 150 people to book and attend their pre-booked time slot will be eligible for the free swaps.
Those who miss out on securing the Modibodi shorts will receive a 15% discount on the entire PUMA x Modibodi leak-proof collection and have the opportunity to purchase selected Modibodi products.
For those unable to attend the physical event in Sydney, a digital space is available for people worldwide to participate.
Starting from July 15th, individuals can upload a picture of themselves in their white or light-coloured sports uniform, and the first 300 participants will receive a free pair of PUMA x Modibodi leak-proof shorts.
Those who do not secure a free pair of Modibodi shorts will receive a 15% discount on the entire PUMA x Modibodi leak-proof collection. The digital activation is open to all women, girls, and people who menstruate.
The collaboration aims to break down barriers that prevent women from participating in sports during their periods. PUMA and Modibodi believe that by providing appropriate sportswear, athletes can feel more comfortable and confident to continue playing sports while menstruating.
The PUMA x Modibodi 2-in-1 Active Shorts are designed to be absorbent, comfortable, and fast-drying, allowing athletes to move, jump, kick, and sweat without worrying about leaks. These shorts can hold 2-3 tampons without appearing or feeling bulky.
The Change Room initiative is part of PUMA and Modibodi’s vision to create a world where barriers to women in sport no longer exist.
By addressing the concerns around outdated uniforms and uncomfortable sportswear, they aim to empower women and girls to fully participate in sports, including during their menstrual cycle.
The PUMA x Modibodi 2-in-1 Active Shorts are available for purchase online at modibodi.com.
