Pablo Larrazábal’s win at the 2023 Korean Championship Presented by Genesis was nothing short of impressive.
The Spaniard showed his mastery of the game as he carded a final round of 67 to finish the tournament 12-under par, securing a two-shot victory.
Larrazábal’s win marked his eighth DP World Tour victory, and his first since the 2021 Alfred Dunhill Championship. It was a welcome return to form for the 39-year-old, who has battled injury and inconsistency in recent years.
The weather conditions at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea on Sunday were particularly challenging, but Pablo was undaunted and produced a stellar performance.
Despite the challenging conditions, with strong winds and slick greens, the Spaniard remained focused, displaying excellent accuracy off the tee, precise iron play, and a deft touch on the greens.
He also credited his Callaway Paradym Driver for helping him achieve this success, which marked an incredible 18th win for the new driver in 2023 across the DP World Tour, PGA Tour, LPGA, and Champions Tour.
In an interview with Callaway Ambassador and Sky Sports broadcaster Inci Mehmet, Pablo expressed his gratitude to Callaway for providing him with the best golf ball in the world, especially in windy conditions.
“There is no better golf ball in the world than the Chrome Soft to play in the wind, I have to thank Callaway who made it.”
