The MEPs to Medals Challenge: A Fitness Revolution

The MEPs to Medals Challenge capitalizes on the global excitement for the Olympics, aiming to foster a sense of community and celebrate the efforts of gym-goers at all levels.

From novices to fitness aficionados, everyone can participate by engaging in various physical activities, whether it’s hitting the gym, swimming laps, or playing volleyball.

Myzone’s advanced heart rate technology ensures every move is accurately tracked, making every effort count.

Dave Benham, owner of Core 300 clubs in the UK, captures the essence of these challenges: โ€œMyzone challenges always create a buzz in our clubs.

Theyโ€™re a fantastic way to bring our clients together, boost attendance and strengthen connections.

We all love to test our physical capabilities and both Myzone and the Myzone challenges give us that extra edge to see just how far as a team we can go.โ€

A Celebration of Effort and Community

Running from Friday, 26th July to Sunday, 8th September, the challenge coincides with the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.

Participants will accumulate Myzone Effort Points (MEPs), fostering camaraderie through team efforts and rewarding exceptional performances with podium spots for feats like the highest average MEPs.

International athlete Danielle Jordan-Taft, a seasoned rugby 7s & 15s player for Jamaica and a high-performance netball player, shares her enthusiasm: โ€œMyzone challenges are brilliant.

They keep me motivated even on days when I donโ€™t feel like training, and theyโ€™re great conservation starters with other gym-goers.

Iโ€™ve met lots of new people through these challenges who I wouldnโ€™t have come across otherwise. Iโ€™ve taken part with my family, friends, and fellow athletes.

My family and friends really enjoy being able to compete with me on a level playing field โ€“ my sister loves the fact that I have to do two workouts to earn the same number of MEPs that she earns in one.โ€

Lighting the Flame of Enthusiasm

Ben Hitchcock, Chief Marketing Officer at Myzone, emphasises the company’s commitment: โ€œMyzone is committed to empowering fitness communities globally.

Our MEPs to Medals Challenge embodies the spirit of the Games by celebrating the myriad of ways people can achieve glory through exercise while reinforcing the importance of community, teamwork, and effort.

We want to light the flame of enthusiasm and support clubs across the world to encourage their communities to embark on a challenge of Olympic proportions.โ€

To help fitness club operators maximize engagement, Myzone has created a comprehensive suite of promotional materials, including posters, live board designs, social media content, and community guidelines.
