Maidstone Leisure Centre has wrapped up an outstanding year by clinching the prestigious UK Pool & Spa Awards – Water Leisure Venue of the Year 2024.
This accolade marks a significant milestone for the facility, highlighting its commitment to excellence and innovation in water leisure.
The past year has been transformative for the centre, thanks to a substantial multimillion-pound upgrade. A standout addition is the Aztec-themed Splash Pad, a vibrant area equipped with interactive water features such as slides and water cannons, designed to provide endless fun for visitors of all ages.
Beyond the Splash Pad excitement, Maidstone Leisure Centre has rolled out the Amazon Adventure Soft Play area. This impressive three-storey playground is crafted especially for kids aged 12 and under, providing a safe and lively space where children can climb, explore, and let their imaginations soar.
It’s the perfect spot for youngsters to enjoy endless hours of fun and adventure in a vibrant, engaging environment.
Clive Bradburn, Chair of Maidstone Leisure Trust, which manages the centre in collaboration with Serco, expressed his enthusiasm: “Congratulations to James Reynolds, Jane Patching-Leppard and the whole Maidstone Leisure Centre team. This is the first time in our history that we’ve won this prestigious award.
