MAAREE, the award-winning female empowerment sportswear brand, is excited to announce it has teamed up with Netball Super League team, Severn Stars Netball. MAAREE and Severn Stars share the same ethos – they are women who empower women.
Today, appropriately coinciding with International Women’s Day, MAAREE and Severn Stars formally launch this season’s partnership.
Yesterday saw the team’s group fitting at their training ground in Worcester, whereby the whole netball team had their measurements taken and bras fitted, with the view to combatting their ongoing problem of ill-fitting sports bras.
Did you know that eight out of ten women are wearing the wrong size sports bra?
Properly fitted bras are arguably the most important factor in a bra’s overall comfort and this has a huge influence on women’s ability to compete and exercise to their full potential.
Severn Star’s netball coach, Jo Trip, echoes this sentiment sharing that “not having the right bra size is the most frequently talked about topic in the changing rooms.”
At the heart of the brand, MAAREE wants to empower girls and women to omit barriers when it comes to sports, by offering products that will allow them to perform at their best.
As founder Mari Thomas explains: “Offering women-first solutions to products was how MAAREE and our now award-winning sports bra designs came about”.
This partnership will ensure the netball team are kitted out with three bras each of their choice from the multiple-award-winning MAAREE collection, seeing them through the whole season.
A pioneering combo of tech, aesthetics and revolutionary Overband Technology, MAAREE is excited about this opportunity to improve the team’s overall comfort when on the pitch.
