The new jersey draws inspiration from 2011/12, when the newly crowned champions sparked a new generation of young football fans. A decade later and LOSC’s influence across Ligue 1 and Europe has continued to grow
The bespoke design showcases a bold liner print in navy and white set against the club’s traditional signature red base.
A panelled and tipped neck collar and cuff sleeves are also added, whilst knitted shorts and socks compliment the look.
The goalkeeper strip is introduced in Team Royal and has been developed in line with the outfield players’ jerseys.
General Manager of New Balance Football, Kenny McCallum, added: “There’s a real energy on the streets of Lille and a great sense of possibility surrounding the club.
New Balance wanted the home kit to feel part of that movement. The design is reflective of a young team in a vibrant city, that plays the game its own way and unlike any LOSC side before it”.
The release is part of the brand’s ‘Family of Dogues’ campaign. The creative is guided by international photographer, Justin Bettman, who worked alongside the brand to help showcase the connection between the new design, the club, and its ties to the city.
New Balance Football has employed cutting-edge design technology across all 22/23 jerseys to ensure superior performance.
Developed using innovative NB Dry technology to help keep players fresh and dry from the first to the final whistle.
