Liverpool FC Teams Swap Shirts for ‘Futuremakers’ Initiative: Signed Jerseys Up for Auction

Liverpool FC’s men and women’s teams will temporarily swap their usual front-of-shirt logos for a special ‘Futuremakers by Standard Chartered’ design during upcoming matches at Anfield, in a bid to support the global initiative aimed at empowering underserved youth.

This logo swap will appear on the shirts for LFC Women on 13 October against Manchester City and LFC Men on 20 October when they face Chelsea.

‘Futuremakers by Standard Chartered’ seeks to provide disadvantaged young people with the skills and opportunities needed to improve their employment prospects or start their own businesses.

Over the past five seasons, LFC has partnered with this program, raising awareness and funds by auctioning off signed, match-worn shirts featuring the Futuremakers design.

Following each match, up to 11 signed match-worn shirts from both teams will be available for auction on Charity Stars, with additional match-issued and bench-worn shirts also up for grabs.

The auction runs from 13 October for the women’s shirts and 20 October for the men’s shirts, continuing through to 11 November.

All proceeds will benefit recipients of Futuremakers, supporting the initiative’s fight against economic inequality.

To further promote the campaign titled ‘Some swaps mean more’, LFC and Standard Chartered have produced exclusive videos featuring players discussing shirt-swapping traditions and the significance of playing in the Futuremakers kit.

First the women will wear the Futuremakers shirts on Sunday 13 October when they face Manchester City at Anfield.

Tickets are still available and priced at just £10 for adults and £4 for juniors. To purchase your tickets, please visit here.

Fans can bid on the shirts and support the initiative at CharityStars.com/SCFM.
