HYROX fans, prepare yourselves for a rowdy Scottish spectacle as the world’s top racers descend upon the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow.
This fourth and final Major of the season marks the last chance for ambitious athletes to clinch a coveted World Championship qualification spot.
With participation soaring and over 600,000 competitors expected this year, it’s no wonder the level of competition has risen to heights once considered downright impossible.
The standards are stiffer than a Scotsman’s upper lip: the cutoff for female average finish times in the Elite 15 is currently 1.02:41, while the men need to break 56.49—both times that used to be in world-record territory.
How to Watch: The Elite 15 races will be livestreamed on the HYROX World Youtube Channel, ensuring you won’t miss a single grimace, gasp, or glorious finish.
Las Vegas Major Recap
At the last Major in Las Vegas, Lauren Weeks (01:00:13) defended home turf with a dominant victory in the Women’s Elite 15.
Whilst the race’s biggest surprise came from 21-year-old Lucy Procter (01:03:56), who secured her World Championship qualification in an impressive Elite 15 debut.
The Men’s Elite 15 race saw a fierce showdown between Dylan Scott (56:15) and Hunter McIntyre (57:09) with Scott issuing a defiant statement after crossing the finish line.
The two battled neck and neck until the final wall balls, where Scott pulled ahead to take the win in 56 minutes and 14 seconds, finishing 23 seconds ahead of McIntyre.
New Zealand’s Beau Wills (57:09) claimed the third podium spot, earning his World Championship ticket alongside Scott and McIntyre.

These gents are hungry for their final regular-season tune-up. Some—like McIntyre, Kelly, Pelayo, Wenisch, and Wills—already have their World Championship slots in the bag.
Don’t expect them to rest on their laurels, though; they’ll be looking to sharpen every edge possible with the big show on the horizon.
Hometown hero Graham Halliday has also qualified, and he’ll be hoping the roars of the Scottish faithful will spur him on to a season-defining performance.
Meanwhile, Ryan Kent is determined to secure his spot. A seasoned name in this sport, he’s had more back-and-forths with McIntyre than a seesaw in a hurricane.
Expect fireworks if these two lock horns again. Keep an eye on Sandbach—impressive in last year’s World Championship but still searching for top form—and Dearden, who narrowly missed qualification in Las Vegas and arrives in Glasgow with a legion of British supporters in tow.
Female Race

Thus far, only four women in this lineup have bagged their tickets to the World Championships, with Lauren Weeks leading the pack after her recent heroics in Las Vegas.
She’s been embroiled in a season-long duel with Megan Jacoby, who’s opted out of this event to focus on training for the worlds.
Joanna Wietrzyk, Kate Davey, and Lucy Procter are also safely qualified, but they’ll be looking to put on a show. Procter, a UK athlete, made a big splash with her Vegas performance and is sure to feed off the local energy once again.
For the rest, it’s do-or-die time. Linda Meier, Viola Oberlander, and Vivian Tafuto have been a consistent presence among the sport’s elite, and all three are duking it out for the few remaining spots.
Pay special attention to Seka Arning—she’s clocked an average of 01:01:35, placing her among the sub-1:02 crowd, which is rarer than a cloudless day in Glasgow.
With the HYROX Elite 15 race heating up and world-class athletes jostling for every second, Glasgow promises drama, grit, and maybe even the odd tears of joy.
The competition has never been fiercer, and with the World Championships looming, you can bet your treadmill-toasting legs that every competitor will be giving it their all.
So, dear readers, pop some popcorn, pour a wee dram if you fancy, and settle in for a sporting showdown.
When the bagpipes play and the final reps are counted, only the best of the best will punch their ticket to the big dance.
