In tandem with the launch of the Classic Leather Legacy, today Reebok announces the “Write Your Legacy” contest in partnership with The Great Khalid Foundation.
The winner of the contest will have the opportunity to be mentored in singing and songwriting by Khalid and his team.
“The voices of young people need to be heard and amplified,” said Khalid. “For me and so many other young artists, music isn’t just a form of self-expression, it is our life, it is our air, it is who we are, it is how we breath and it is how we share our stories with the future. I am thrilled to help an upcoming artist find their voice and write their own legacy.”
In honor of the Classic Leather Legacy, the “Write Your Legacy” mentorship includes two 60 minute singing and songwriting virtual workshops with Khalid and his producers Denis Kosiak and Khyire Tyler a $10,000 reward and a year supply of Reebok apparel and footwear.
Aspiring singers and songwriters can enter to win at Reebok.com/legacy by a 2 minute or less video explaining what they want their legacy to be and 60 second sample of their singing.
The contest is open through August 18, and the winner will be announced on September 1.
The Reebok Classic Leather Legacy is an easy-to-wear retro-running inspired lifestyle silhouette that takes cues from a bygone era and reimagines it for the next generation.
