Reignwood Icons of Football will soon welcome the world’s greatest footballers as they swap their boots for golf clubs on March 1-2, 2025, at the stunning Robinswood Golf Course in Reignwood Park, Bangkok.
It’s a global first for Asia—football icons competing in matchplay golf, with Team England, captained by Lee Westwood, going head-to-head against Sergio Garcia’s Team World in a clash that’s sure to turn heads.
These aren’t your everyday golfers. We’re talking about legends who’ve graced the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, and major international tournaments.
Now, they’ll put their competitive spirit to work on a 10-hole course designed to bring out the best (and maybe a few nerves) in every shot. The spectacle is set to be broadcast worldwide, so fans everywhere can share in the excitement.

On Saturday, each of these big names will tackle the 12th at Robinswood, also known as “The Richest Hole in Golf.” It’s only 170 yards, but one hole-in-one could land an eye-watering $10 million—making it the biggest single-prize hole in the sport.
A slice of those winnings will support both the Icons Foundation (backing MND) and a charity of the winning player’s choice.
