After a year without hosting its iconic stage of the Longines Global Champions Tour series, the Port d’Hercule of Monaco saw the world’s greatest riders and horses return to the competition ground this weekend, offering impressive moments of performance to the passionate enthusiasts of the discipline.
It is with honor that Longines, Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the series, witnessed the victory of Darragh Kenny on Idalville d’Esprit during the weekend’s highlight trial, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix du Prince de Monaco.
The thrilling prize-giving ceremony was attended by Princess Caroline of Hanover and her daughter Charlotte Casiraghi. The Irish rider received an elegant Longines timepiece from the hands of the brand’s CEO, Matthias Breschan.
This success qualified Darragh Kenny to participate in the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix, taking place at the end of the season in Prague, where he will compete against the winners of the previous legs.
Moreover, the Swiss watch brand was delighted to encourage the promising riders, in the person of Jane Richard, Longines Ambassador of Elegance, who teamed up with Lou Audion to participate in the Longines Pro-Am Cup.
Created by Charlotte Casiraghi, this trial involves an amateur and professional rider who compete together for the victory, with a focus on speed and agility.
As Official Watch of the event, Longines presented one of its iconic models from the collection La Grande Classique de Longines.
This line is a symbol of Longines’ classic elegance and timeless sophistication, and stands out thanks to its very slim profile and the wide palette of available variations.
Designed for both women and men, this iconic collection can be seen on the wrists of all those who know how to appreciate true value.
