Daisy Corporate Services finds corporate wellness solution to suit nationwide workforce

Daisy Corporate Services (DCS), the UK’s leading provider of IT, communications and cloud solutions, has teamed up with Gympass, leaders in corporate fitness sales, to offer all its 1,200 employees across 30 UK locations greater opportunities for physical activity.

A key challenge for DCS in the past has been finding a wellness programme that is accessible to a geographically dispersed workforce.

Now, DCS employees can access over 2,000 fitness facilities from the Gympass network, no matter their location. Furthermore, they can do this at a fraction of the normal membership price, ensuring a huge choice of different activities, at hundreds of locations

“At DCS, we strive to look after every aspect of our employees’ health, understanding that there needs to be a focus on both mental and physical health to avoid disruption to day-to-day productivity,” says Damien Russell, HR Director, Daisy Corporate Services.

“We are continuously looking at ways to support staff in remaining healthy – be it through wellness schemes, encouraging a good work/life balance, or even going as far as providing access to trained professionals to discuss health concerns, financial advice or family worries.”

“Our latest partnership with Gympass is part of our desire to demonstrate that we are serious about the health and wellbeing of our employees.

We know that access to physical activity plays a huge part in employee wellbeing and in the past, we’ve struggled to find a corporate gym scheme that translates across all of our office locations.

Gympass’ vast network of fitness facilities around the country provides a unique solution.

The flexibility of the service means all our employees can choose from leisure facilities up and down the country, across multiple price brackets, ensuring everyone can find the perfect fitness solution and activity for them.”

The partnership taps into the growing appetite for flexible wellness solutions.

And with the ever-increasing body of supportive research into the links between physical activity and mental health, the deal will encourage a healthier lifestyle and increased productivity for DCS members and staff across all of the locations.

“By partnering with Gympass, DCS will be able to offer all of their employees the ability to exercise affordably, right across the country,” says Luke Bullen, Gympass UK&I Head of Corporate Wellbeing.

“We know that increased physical health can reduce medical costs, sick days, and employee fatigue, while also improving productivity.

Programmes like Gympass are also an excellent way for companies to attract top talent.

We are looking forward to monitoring uptake in the coming months and to helping DCS realise the benefits of a healthy, active workforce.”

On top of providing a network of over 2,000 fitness locations, Gympass will be working closely with DCS to engage their workforce in the platform by using multiple touch points through internal communications, digital channels, live webinars and wellbeing content.

That approach has led to them achieving significantly higher uptake than traditional physical activity providers with clients across every sector group.
