wagamama has launched an exciting lunchtime delivery concept delivering delicious healthy food to people working from home or back in the office.
The simple yet original format of light tasty dishes is called BOX and it’s the perfect solution for evolving work patterns.
Since the new year two million commuters are back in London every week and the rest of the country has also witnessed a major drive to get back to work in the office.
With these evolving working patterns, wagamama expect flexibility with a mixture of back in the office and working from home. BOX is also the perfect solution for providing advanced catering for larger corporate orders.
Following trials of five signature boxes filled with the freshest Asian ingredients, the concept proved a huge success and is now expanding throughout London and into Leeds to continue bringing delicious food to those working from home or in the office.
The specially crafted, lighter lunch boxes include: miso mixed veg (vg), aromatic chicken, chicken katsu, teriyaki pulled duck and yasai katsu (vg) as well as a selection of side boxes and soft drinks, and are available with free delivery for new customers via deliveroo in: Bow, Balham, Forest Hill, Hackney, Leeds, Old Street, Peckham, Sutton, Walthamstow.

- boost boxes | signature boxes with double the protein/veg from that particular box
- hot boxes | these are the 2x signature katsu dishes, but with hot katsu sauce
- hot boost boxes | these are the 2x boost katsu dishes, but with hot katsu sauce
In October 2021 wagamama announced the launch of new plant-based dishes meaning it is the UK’s first high street restaurant to give plant-based dishes equal share on their menu.
Vegan trailblazers wagamama will continue to promote plant-based eating as one of the most powerful choices consumers can make in the fight against climate change.
As part of their ‘2021 Positive Action Plan’, wagamama pledged to make half their menu plant-based by the end of the year. A commitment they met three months early upon the launch of their new menu on October 6.
wagamama has achieved its 50 percent plant-based commitment through launching dishes like Spicy Teriyaki Vegan ‘Chicken’ Steamed Buns, Spicy Vegan ‘Short Rib’ Ramen, Teriyaki Vegan ‘Chicken’ Ramen, and Shu’s ‘Shiok’ Jackfruit.
