Ace Your Style: ASICS x A.P.C. Tennis Collection Combines Function and Fashion

If you’re after tennis gear that works just as hard as you do—and looks good while doing it—the ASICS A.P.C. Tennis Collection might just be your new obsession.

Dropping ahead of the European Tennis Tour, this head-to-toe collab between sportswear giant ASICS and effortlessly cool French label A.P.C. is all about blending top-tier performance with pared-back style.

It’s a bit of a landmark moment too, marking ASICS’ first full tennis collection made with a fashion house—and it shows.

Marrying the precision of ASICS’ sports engineering with A.P.C.’s minimalist, monochromatic aesthetic, the collection presents a crisp blue and white palette that echoes a 70’s preppy vibe.

The on-court range is a 20-piece ensemble that effortlessly blends industry-leading performance features with elegant design elements. Standout women’s items like the CREW DRESS, CREW SLEEVELESS TOP, 2-N-1 SHORT, LONGLINE BRA, and 7IN SPRINTER SHORT sit alongside essential men’s pieces such as the CREW SS TOP, CREW SLEEVELESS TOP, and 5IN SHORT.

Drawing inspiration from ASICS’ Japanese heritage, select designs—such as the CREW DRESS, CREW SLEEVELESS TOP, 2-N-1 SHORT, and 5IN SHORT—pay homage to KASANE, the art of layering in Japan, via subtle wrap details.

Throughout the collection, the “Enso” motif—a circular symbol of unity—appears gracefully, while the ASICS logo takes cues from the traditional Japanese tie-dye technique, SHIBORI.

Not to be outdone by the on-court glamour, the off-court collection boasts 30 pieces curated under the creative guidance of A.P.C.’s Judith Touitou. This range is designed for those who demand effortless style in everyday life, featuring special edition sneakers like the GEL-KAYANO 14 x A.P.C., and signature accessories such as the Tote Raquette—crafted from Japanese organic denim with a sleek front pocket made to cradle a tennis racket.

The performance-driven spirit of this collection is evident in every detail. Special edition footwear—including the GEL-RESOLUTION™ X x A.P.C. and SOLUTION SPEED™ FF 3 x A.P.C. models—complements the look, while accessories like the TENNIS CAP, TENNIS WRISTBAND, and COURT+ TENNIS CREW SOCKS round out the ensemble perfectly.

ASICS athletes including Alex de Minaur, Borna Coric, Lorenzo Musetti, Belinda Bencic, Harriet Dart, and Jasmine Paolini will be showcasing both the on-court and off-court pieces during the European tennis tournaments, proving that this collaboration delivers both style and performance.

Camille Eberhard, Director of Apparel at ASICS, encapsulated the excitement: “We’re excited to introduce our first-ever head-to-toe tennis collaboration, and partnering with A.P.C. was the perfect match for this launch.

Our teams collaborated closely to bring this vision to life, balancing style and performance to inspire confidence on the court.

For the on-court collection, our goal was to design apparel that helps players feel their best, ready to experience the powerful uplift of movement on the mind.

It seamlessly blends timeless aesthetics with our industry-leading performance technology. The off-court range, designed by A.P.C., extends this philosophy beyond the game, embracing an active lifestyle in everyday life.”

Judith Touitou, Creative Director at A.P.C., added her own perspective: “With this collection, we tried to achieve the purest silhouettes possible so as to focus on the beauty of the sportive gesture achieved by ASICS athletes on their way to success.

We also wanted to translate this spirit in everybody’s lifestyle, adding also a touch of playfulness brought by our gradient print on nylon pieces.”

Available online from 5 April 2025 via asics.com, apcstore.com, and select ASICS and A.P.C. stores worldwide, the ASICS A.P.C. Tennis Collection is set to redefine tennis apparel—making sure every serve and volley is delivered with a touch of refined elegance.
