Participants kicked off near Green Park, sprinting past historic sites like Westminster Bridge, the London Eye, Big Ben, and Trafalgar Square, finally finishing in Whitehall, close to the Prime Minister’s residence.

Unique to this event, the Saucony London 10k is the only closed-road run that takes participants down Regent Street, making it a truly special experience.

Among the sea of runners was former Team USA Olympian Jared Ward. Ward, who finished sixth in the 2016 Olympic marathon, joined the fray, participating in a thrilling three-way sprint finish.

Remarkably, the top three male finishers completed the race in under half an hour. Ward shared his excitement: “I loved it. Running through a city like London is rare, and it’s a beautiful tour of a beautiful city.

The fans were fantastic on this lovely British summer day. I love London, and running here with such a great fanbase is always a pleasure.”
