This Summer, Jordan Brand Invites Everyone to the Courts with Two New Collections

Jordan Brand Invites Everyone to the basketball Courts 3

Basketball unites players in all kinds of court settings. Whether under the lights of a gymnasium or on an asphalt street, players can find a personal and collective solace in the game.

It’s in the spirit of basketball’s diverse backdrops, inviting all levels to play, that Jordan Brand releases footwear and apparel timed to two key Parisian hoops moments.

Recognising the electric diversity of France’s basketball talent is the summertime Jordan x Quai 54 collection.

The product spans footwear and apparel, covering performance and lifestyle, and features the tournament logo’s stylised geometric designs on silhouettes like the Air Jordan XXXV Low, the Air Jordan I Low and the Air Jordan V mid.

“This year, we created a ‘Quai 54’ graphic motif inspired by traditional West African fabric patterns,” says Thibaut de Longeville, co-founder of Quai 54. “We wanted to modernize the look, add some Parisian flair, and ultimately match the energy of the event and its incredible community.”

At the highest level, Jordan Brand unveils a new jersey for the French men and women’s national team. A sportswear collection accompanies the jersey’s release.

The pieces include hoodies, T-shirts, jackets and shorts. The apparel designs draft from the uniform, which features a new pattern inspired by the colours of the national flag, incorporating the Jumpman logo on the chest.

“Playing for our country under the legacy of Jordan Brand is special,” says Marine Johannès, guard for the French Women’s National Team. “We can’t wait to wear the new jersey and let the colors of France shine.”

The Jordan x Quai 54 collection releases July 8 at the Paris House of Innovation and July 10 on nike.com. The French jersey and apparel collection releases July 3 on nike.com.
