Aramis Becomes Training Partner To Fiji Rugby

Aramis Fiji Rugby Training Partner

Aramis Rugby, the world’s leading manufacturer of rugby equipment, has signed a five-year deal with Fiji Rugby Union to become the nation’s Official Training Equipment Partner and Scrummaging Supplier.

The partnership will see Aramis exclusively supply the ‘FIJI Water Flying Fijians’ with its extensive range of elite training equipment, including tackle bags, shields, cones, hurdles and tag rugby belts, as well as the state-of-the-art Aramis digital scrum machine.

As well as the National Men’s side, Aramis’ equipment will also be supplied to Fiji Airways Fiji 7s and Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s and Vodafone Fijiana 15 teams, to be used during training and pre-match warmups for the home and away fixtures.

Aramis will also support Fiji Rugby’s pathway teams and the equipment will be used to further develop the community game in the nation.

Aramis’ relationship with Fiji comes off the back of partnerships with other national rugby federations, including the Italian Rugby Federation and Samoa national team.

Aramis Rugby is also an Official Supporter of Rugby World Cup France 2023, seeing the Devon-based company provide training, grounds and fitness equipment to the 20 participating teams at this year’s tournament, including the world’s most advanced digital analytical scrum machines.

FIJI Water Flying Fijians Head Coach Simon Raiwalui, Fiji head coach said: “I, on behalf of the FIJI Water Flying Fijians coaches, management and players, would like to acknowledge Aramis for their kind support towards us and Fiji Rugby as whole.

The equipment supplied will certainly assist us in preparing for 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.”

Founded in 2003, Aramis Rugby is a family business run by Indian couple Vikas and Roshni Mahajan. As one of the only rugby equipment brands to manufacture their own goods, its manufacturing expertise dates back to its origin in 1927 when the company supplied hockey sticks to the Indian Olympic team.

The company is proud of its Indian heritage, and still operates its manufacturing processes from its family factory in Punjab as well as their headquarters in Devon.

Vikas Mahajan, Founder and CEO of Aramis Rugby, said: “It’s a great honour to be able to join the exciting journey of a great rugby nation like Fiji, ahead of this year’s Rugby World Cup.

Fiji has a proud and successful history within the sport, and we are confident that working with Aramis will provide the Flying Fijians with the opportunity to compete even more on the biggest stages of global rugby.”
