With most of the UK summer destinations already fully booked or charging vastly inflated rates for accommodation, Brits are scrambling to find spots to staycate.
To help, David Lloyd Clubs, will for the first time be offering overnight stays with a luxury, all-inclusive, glamping retreat in one of its most scenic locations in Hampton, London.
Visitors can experience everything they’d look for from a resort; a luxurious spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, kids club, tennis, a 9-hole golf course, plus dining and cocktails – with overnight accommodation in a pop-up glamping site.
Taking place at David Lloyd Hampton from 9 to 15 August, Glamp @ David Lloyd Clubs will feature six luxury bell tents, each sleeping up to five for two-night stays.
Not available to purchase, these breaks will be awarded to those most deserving through nominations from the public.
A number of breaks have also been gifted to The Captain Tom Foundation, who will be rewarding those who have worked tirelessly fundraising to support others.
The VIP staycation will include all meals and unlimited house wine, beer and cocktails; a champagne welcome reception on the terrace; a welcome pack including marshmallows to be enjoyed around the fire pit; an exclusive gin tasting evening for adults and burger-making class for the kids, plus nightly live entertainment.
VIP access to David Lloyd Hampton is also included, where glampers can work up a sweat in the state-of-the-art gym, recharge with a morning yoga class, make a splash in the outdoor and indoor pools, or while away an afternoon in the tranquil spa garden.
