New Balance has revealed Athletic Club’s bespoke Away kit for the 21/22 season.
The unique design is inspired by the port of Bilbao’s industrial heritage.
The Basque flag is also added to the jersey collar, whilst matching knitted shorts complete the look.
Star forward Iñaki Williams said, “It feels extra special to be able to wear a jersey that celebrates the history of San Mames. It will inspire us to play with even more heart”.
General Manager of New Balance Football, Kenny McCallum said: “San Mames is an incredible source of inspiration for New Balance. We understand the importance of the Stadium to Athletic supporters and wanted to pay tribute to that through the new unique Away jersey design”.
The goalkeeper kit has been designed in line with the outfield player strips and arrives in Light Cobalt accompanied with a Cool Blue speckled graphic.
The release is part of New Balance’s ‘This Runs Deeper” campaign for Athletic Club, in recognition of Los Leones’ players and fans relentless drive to bring new success to the Club.
New Balance has applied cutting edge design technology across all 21/22 jerseys to ensure superior performance. Developed using innovative NB Dry technology to help keep players fresh and dry from the first to final whistle. A jacquard ventilation system is also included to promote optimum comfort on the elite shirt.
