Saucony, a globally recognized performance running brand, has forged a partnership with the esteemed London 10K, resulting in the event being rebranded as the Saucony London 10K.

The running brand has been unveiled as the title partner for the event, slated to take place on Sunday, July 14th, 2024, navigating through the iconic streets of the capital city.

Widely esteemed as London’s premier 10KM running event, it offers participants a picturesque route that encompasses the city’s iconic landmarks, complemented by a vibrant atmosphere.

The collaboration marks a pivotal moment for Saucony, as it unveils its new brand identity, integrating the lifestyle and run divisions of the business.

This strategic move underscores Saucony’s unwavering dedication to the running community in London, epitomized through its supporting campaign, ‘TAKE ON LONDON’.

This initiative seeks to inspire and unite the city’s running enthusiasts, fostering a sense of camaraderie and personal growth among participants, regardless of their skill levels.

Cameron Black, VP GM Saucony EMEA, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “Saucony and the event are perfectly aligned in values and vision, with a powerful commitment to getting the capital active.

This is the first time Saucony has been the title partner of a UK race, marking an exciting moment and new direction for Saucony.”

Ian Allerton, Director of Operations at the Saucony London 10K, shared his enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting the event’s past success and its positive impact on the running community.

“The Saucony London 10K is recognized as one of the world’s leading city centre 10Ks, and has been a hugely popular ever-present date in the UK running calendar since its launch in 2001”.

“Last year’s 2023 edition was the largest for over 10 years, with 17,000 runners taking part and raising over half a million pounds for charities, across both London and the wider UK,” said Allerton.

With the partnership with Saucony, the organizers aim to continue providing a unique and inspiring experience for local communities and runners of all abilities.

The Saucony London 10K is renowned for its electric atmosphere, featuring live bands and DJs along the route, accompanied by enthusiastic supporters.

The previous edition in 2023 witnessed a record number of entries, with over 17,000 runners participating and raising significant funds for charity.

Starting from Green Park, near Buckingham Palace, participants of the Saucony London 10K will embark on a journey through some of London’s most iconic sites, including Westminster Bridge, the London Eye, and Trafalgar Square, before concluding near Downing Street on Whitehall.
