Enjoy Family Yoga, Stargazing, Specialty Dinners And More Four Seasons Scottsdale Troon North

In the sun-drenched desert of Scottsdale, Arizona, the arrival of spring means extra fun for the whole family. Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North is the ideal basecamp from which vacationers can enjoy a variety of activities at the Resort and nearby. Here are just a few:

Kids for All Seasons

The year-round complimentary Kids for All Seasons program kicks into high gear for spring break. Camp counsellors lead children in creative activities ranging from nature walks and obstacle courses to treasure hunts and science experiments.

The Kids for All Seasons headquarters also provides families with a great place to gather and play foosball, ping pong, Xbox games and even watch films in a specially designed movie room. Kids for All Seasons is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily for kids ages 5–12.

Yoga for Families

Surrounded by beautiful desert views, guests and their children can enjoy some outdoor yoga time together as Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale offers special classes catering to adults and kids. Family yoga classes, which are priced at USD 10 per person, will be offered at 2:00 pm on March 21 and 25, 2019.

Sunset Yoga and Wine under the Stars

Savour yoga in the warmth of a spring evening followed by wine with friends under a starry night sky as The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North presents its popular Candlelight Yoga Series.

Participants are treated to an hour-long yoga flow practice and sunset views of the valley on the Resort’s outdoor lawns. After the yoga session, guests can mingle with friends al fresco in candlelight over a glass of red or white wine, provided complimentary to all attendees age 21 or older. The Spring Candlelight Yoga Series will be held every other Thursday in March and April 2019. The dates are:

  • April 11, 2019

  • April 25, 2019

Spanish Food and Wine Experience at Talavera

Join Talavera Chef Samantha Sanz on a culinary tour of Spain highlighted by an open-fire paella cooked and served on the Talavera patio. Enjoy a welcome sip and bite in the Gin Bar, leg of lamb carved tableside, and an interactive sweets tasting paired with a dessert sherry. Each course will be paired with a wine from a different region of Spain. The Spanish Food and Wine Experience will be held on March 19, 2019 and is priced at USD 125 per person. An Exploration of Gin Dinner

Learn about gin and its many unique flavours at An Exploration of Gin dinner at Talavera on April 18, 2019. After guests are welcomed with a gin cocktail in The Gin Bar, Talavera Chef Samantha Sanz will showcase tableside offerings, action stations and a delectable dessert. Throughout the evening, guests will be able to participate in an interactive gin tasting with a gin expert to guide the way. An Exploration of Gin is priced at USD 125 per person. Zen Hike

Guests are encouraged to stop, breathe and take in the beauty of nature as they enjoy a guided hike that starts at The Spa. Approximately 90 minutes from start to finish, the Zen Hike is led by Resort instructors and incorporates yoga poses along the beautiful desert hiking trail as it meanders up Pinnacle Peak.   It’s the perfect way to start the day with mindful exercise that both invigorates the body and calms the mind.

Star Gazing

Enveloped by the peaceful quiet of the nighttime desert, guests can marvel at the blanket of stars twinkling in the midnight-blue sky with the help of the Resort’s astronomer and his professional telescope.  Guests learn the secrets of lunar and planetary geology and spend an enlightening, educational and entertaining evening under the stars.

Springtime offers an exciting roster of night sky activity. A new moon in early March means stargazers will be able to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters with no moonlight to interfere. On March 21, 2019, the moon will be at its closest approach to the Earth making it a big, bright Super Moon.

Stargazing is complimentary for Resort guests.

For those who enjoy the chance the bid the day adieu and welcome the night sky on the privacy of their own patio, the Resort offers telescopes in a selection of its two-bedroom suites and its three-bedroom Pinnacle Suite.
